Martha Elizabeth SNOAD  [scrapbook] was born on 23 Apr 1872 at 20 Plantation Road, Faversham, Kent, England. She married William (Willie) Bristow II DAGG on 17 Mar 1894 in St John the Evangelist, Church Westminster, Martha was counted in a census in 1881 at Ospringe Street, Westbrook Place, Faversham Kent. She was counted in a census in 1891 working as a Servant (cook) in Broadstairs, Kent. She was counted in a census in 1901 at 126 Blythe Road, Hammersmith, London Middlesex. She died on 17 Nov 1932 in Acton, London.

Martha is listed as aged 27 and is lodging on her own at 126 Blythe Road Hammersmith in the 1901 census, her eldest children Mabel and Phyllis Dagg are in the work house.- I have as yet been unable to trace William her husband although he did not die until 1916.

William Dagg and Martha Snoad had the following children:

		M	iii	William James DAGG was born on 24 Jul 1902. He died in Nov 1969.

Phyllis Jessie DAGG. was born in 1896 in London, Holborn she was counted in a census in 1901 in St Georges Hanover Sq Union Workhouse.

BIOGRAPHY I remember Aunty Phyllis visiting us at 2 Lavender Way in Wickford, I believe she was unmarried although I am not certain, she was certainly on her own during the visit. She was a vegetarian and eat a nut cutlet which I found to very strange at the time. Diana McGlone ne Dagg
