Poly's sister Lal took care of her in her own house and went to search for the baby who was found in a pram under mounds of blankets. Lily Polly's sister took her into her house and kept Flossie and the baby for a year until she was better. Many years later Flossie told Lily's daughter Dolly that her parents were eternally grateful to Lil and Nathan and that they had saved her life.
