Her cousin, William James Spice (son of Albert dob 21 Feb 1896, Albert son of William Edward dob 27 Oct 1864), dob 14 Feb 1923 , married Winifred Lindridge. Winifred's parents were William Lindridge and Eleanor Cross. Eleanor's parents were William cross and Sarah Wilcock. Sarah's mother was Elizabeth Spice, the daughter of Edward Spice and Sarah Ann Gasson. "We heard from our Sittingbourne part of the family that William James Spice, born 14 Feb 1923 in Sittingbourne, died 2 Feb 2006 in Sittingbourne of cancer. He was the son of Albert Spice, 21 Feb 1896, Albert the son of William Edward Spice, 27 Oct 1864 and William Edward the son of William Spice, 10 Apr 1843. William had done a lot of research on the family and was very helpful to us in getting us started on ours. He was very delighted that his great-nephew came out and got acquainted with us in California. He was married to Winifred Lindridge, who connects to our Spice tree up a few generations. Winifred's mother was Eleanor Cross, Eleanor's mother was Sarah M. Wilcock, Sarah's mother was Elizabeth Spice, 26 Dec 1841, Elizabeth's father was Edward Spice, 10 Sep 1815, Edward's father was William Spice, 31 Dec 1783.
